Images for Blogs or Mixed Media

Hello all! Happy Sunday!
I scanned a few images for you to use on blogs or for mixed media.
These are from a 1975 Imperial Sugar Cookbook, that was revised from a 1915 Cookbook! I love the cover especially.
There's some nice titles inside, too.
Take out the lettering and insert your own for blog buttons, etc.
I tried to fix them a bit with PSP, but I'm a novice when it comes to that program.
Just click on each image and it will bring up the larger size
to save to your computer.
I could see this as a background.
It's the inside cover.

Last, but not least, here's a great grocery ad from 1938!
Look at those prices!! WoW!
I can see this in a mixed media piece.

These are from our personal collection of ephemera.

Feel free to use them in your artwork, or on your blog.
Please do not sell them as graphics, as they are free to use.

Hope y'all like them!

Have a wonderful Holiday!

Free Vintage Images

Happy Friday to all!
I've been having so much fun with the new scanner!
Here are images that might be good for some of your art or scrapbooking.
I love the kitchen stuff. DH has lots of cookbooks that I can scan!
Yep, they are HIS! LoL!
I wanted to put this Blue Ribbon recipe book on Etsy, but he wanted to keep it!
I love the cute cover!
This is the back of the cookbook.

Flea Market Friday will be back soon. I haven't had time to take any photos.
It's toooo hot to go outside!

Hope that you'll enjoy these images.
Please let me know if you create something with them. Would love to see!
Thanks!!

Have a great weekend, and be safe in this heat!

Free Vintage Karo Syrup Images

Here's a couple images that y'all might like from an old Corn Products Cookbook.
This one is the from the first page of the Candy making section. It's my favorite because they are making fudge! My mom used to make fudge using the Karo Syrup recipe. The whole kitchen would smell so good while she was fixing it! We even loved it when it didn't turn out. We just used a spoon! :) I haven't had a lot of success with making it her way. I make the Kraft Marshmallow Fudge in the microwave. So easy, and it never fails! I am the appointed fudge candy maker in our family when we have get-togethers.

Hope that you'll enjoy these. Maybe they'd be good for some mixed media or however you choose to use them. Just click on the image to get the larger version, right click, and save as, to save to your pc.

Thanks!

Free Vintage Uncle Sam Images

Hello All!
I've been playing around with my new *HP All-In-One*
I love this scanner! (so far!)
Thought y'all might like these Vintage Uncle Sam images. They would be cute in a collage or just added to your blog. If you have an image editing program on your pc, Uncle Sam could be used as a single image.
These are from 1942 Poultry books on how to raise chickens!
I hope that I did this right!!
I still am trying to figure out the correct settings.
Any advice is appreciated
.

Please let me know if these work. Just click on the image to bring up the larger size. Then right click and save to your computer.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I am heading out to get busy with yardwork.
Thanks for stopping by!

Freebie Rose Logo

Hope everybody is having a nice Sunday!
It's gorgeous here, sunny and just the right temps to be out and about.
I was playing around with PSP, and made this little logo.
The photo is of a rose in my yard.
The quote, I ran across in an email.
Please feel free to use this rose logo for your emails or blogs.
To use in your sidebar, make sure the "shrink to fit" is checked
when you add it. Then it will size accordingly.
This is my 1st one to make and post.
I hope to post more as I get a few made up.
Hope that you like it.
Thanks for stopping by!
Now, it's back out to the yard.
I have Moonflowers to plant.
